Geosyntec Consultants Expand Office Space at the Accelerator Building in Waterloo

Kitchener-Waterloo August 25

Geosyntec Consultants have scaled up their office space at 295 Hagey Boulevard in Waterloo. Adding 8,500 square feet to their existing 7,000 square foot suite, Geosyntec now occupies 15,500 square feet on the second floor of the Accelerator Building.

Our leasing and property management teams provided Geosyntec with the opportunity to increase their premises, while our project management team facilitated design and construction services.

In collaboration with Elemental Design, our construction project management team reimagined the office layout to accommodate different features, including private offices and areas for collaboration, as requested by the tenant.

In the existing space, renovations included, new carpet, fresh paint, a revamped bathroom facility with a shower, LED lighting installed throughout, and a refresh of the reception area with new millwork.

In their expansion space, Europro transformed the suite to match the existing office space for a consistent feel throughout. This included, updated paint and flooring, the addition of a modern kitchen, numerous private offices, and LED lighting.

The Accelerator Building is a beautiful mixed-use property located in the heart of the David Johnston Research and Technology Park. The building stands proudly among a number of University of Waterloo buildings. Rows of windows ring each floor, and a large dedicated surface lot easily accommodates all tenants and visitor. The gorgeous landscaping continues onto the roof of the building, with a fully active green roof.
